2027: NNPP Ready to Partner With Tinubu, Jonathan, or Obi – Kwankwaso Declares-

The 2023 presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has announced that his party is open to forming alliances with any political leader or party committed to building a better Nigeria.

Speaking during an interview with BBC Hausa, Kwankwaso said the NNPP is ready to collaborate with anyone including President Bola Tinubu, former President Goodluck Jonathan, or Labour Party’s Peter Obi as long as they share the same values of integrity, competence, and genuine concern for the welfare of Nigerians.

“We’re ready for anyone, whether it’s the APC, PDP, ADC, Jonathan, or Peter Obi. If we are satisfied with their competence and integrity, we will join forces to achieve success,” he said.

“But whoever we align with must be committed to improving the lives of Nigerians. If they fail to meet our expectations, we won’t continue with them.”

Kwankwaso emphasized that any alliance must be built on mutual respect, shared ideals, and tangible benefits that will uplift ordinary citizens, not just politicians.

He also noted that the NNPP, which fielded candidates across all states during the 2023 general elections, has grown into a national political force capable of shaping Nigeria’s future.

The former lawmaker further hinted that discussions about a possible collaboration with the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) were ongoing, but stressed that such an arrangement must bring “real value” to NNPP’s existing structures and members.

Kwankwaso criticized Nigeria’s political class, accusing them of turning a blind eye to the suffering of citizens while living extravagantly in Abuja.

“Our leaders must wake up and put the people first. Nigerians deserve leaders who understand their pain and are ready to make sacrifices,” he added.
